The AADC's annual advertising and design awards were titled 'For the Love of Ideas'... three bmd projects were finalists with two picking up an award.
Award for Activations: Charles Brice Trust Fund
In 2010, nineteen year old Charles Brice had a motorcycle accident and suffered severe spinal cord damage. bmd created the 'Shout One for Bricey' donation system and a campaign that engaged Bricey's mates and wider network, helping them to regularly shout him a virtual drink via a donation. Beer coasters were widely distributed to drive donations via the website. All work was performed pro bono. Visit the website >

In Chess, El Desperado is a doomed pawn determined to give itself up to bring about a stalemate when captured. Our packaging solution uses lenticular printing which changes the image from good to evil as you tilt the bottle. View bottle >

Our new website for Master Chef contestant, Callum Hann, utilises responsive web design. Callum's audience are on the go, usually accessing the internet from their phones. This made the mobile browser experience a critical component of the project, and a perfect chance to utilise responsive web design principals.

SAM don't do residential air conditioning. But their identity was attracting this market causing wasted hours of unproductive contact - both for SAM and the consumer.
We did a full brand review of SAM and the industry, formulating a clear brand strategy, appropriate tagline and new targeted visual identity.

bmd created a website encouraging prospective GP's to take their training in a wide range of locations around SA. The key was to highlight the best of each region, showcasing the lifestyle of each location.

Mosel Steed is the merger of two surveying companies, MOSEL BROWNE and STEED and POHL, required a new brand identity to represent their new story and future direction.
A brand identity was created to reflect more than just their core discipline of surveying, but to symbolise the broad range of other services such as planning and management consulting.
The new brand has been a cohesive force helping blend two business' cultures, and adding an exciting level of confidence and optimism.
