Background

WHO wanted the ‘Commission on Social Determinants of Health’ to have its own unique identity to enhance the communication of both the Commission’s projects and the actions resulting from its outcomes.


Action

Working with the WHO teams in London and Geneva, bmd have created a brand identity, developed conference material and produced interim reports in various languages and produced the Commission’s final 256 page report ‘Closing the gap in a generation’.


Result

The CSDH has a high profile with global stakeholders and is now evolving from a commission to an action group. bmd are now working with the WHO to create an online resource to aid strategies aiming to reduce health inequities.
